Bikers Ride in Annual Swords Run

The rain didn't stop a local church from raising money for good cause, for the 2nd Annual Sword Run here in Clarksburg.

Bikers from Ohio, West Virginia, and even Kentucky drove all the way to Clarksburg to do a four hour tour of the Mountain State, and all for a good cause.

Bikers rode to places like Buckhannon and even Grafton. Officials say this is a good fundraiser because it can help people find hope in a higher power.

What we find is just as a firefighter is better at reaching other firefighters, if you're a Christian and ride a motorcycle, you're better at reaching bikers," said Doug Joseph, Pastor.

Due to the rain, the ride got off to a late start, but about 10 bikers came out to take part in the sword run.

After their ride, bikers had the chance to enter in a raffle, to win a grand prize of up to $500.
