A Braxton County man was arrested after he apparently tried to hide what was left of an old meth lab from police.

Officers got a call that 41 year-old Jack Jenkins was trying to get rid of those remains in the Scotts Fork area.

When officers arrived, they found Jenkins and another man in a car.

The other man supposedly told police that Jenkins threw two backpacks over a nearby hillside.

After searching that area, officers found those backpacks.

Inside were the tools you need to make meth.
