The South Eastern Theatre Conference is the largest theatre network in the U.S., and Bridgeport High School played host to their pre-screening auditions Saturday for a group of aspiring stage actors and actresses.

141 thespians were trying out for the opportunity to go to Louisville, Kentucky for the 64th SETC Convention. The actors and actresses came from West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania to earn their spot at the convention.

A marathon of auditions started at seven this morning and ended at five this afternoon. This was the first time that Bridgeport has hosted the event.
