Many different fire departments were busy Saturday putting out brush fires, due to the dry weather. One brush fire burned about a half of an acre near Clarksburg.

It happened around 4:30 Saturday afternoon at the end of Country Club Road. Owners of the land were burning a pile of trash when the fire got out of control.

It took firefighters about 30 minutes to contain the flames.

The State Fire Marshal's Office is reminding people not to burn anything between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. to avoid these types of incidents.
