The clock is ticking until the St. Jude Car Giveaway on WDTV. And this gives you the chance to not only possibly win a brand new car, but you're also helping sick kids who need you. These children are at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, and they have been diagnosed with catastrophic diseases. But their families never see a medical bill, and the hospital accepts patients from all over the world.

13-year old Caleb Waddell is one of those patients. He has undergone multiple surgeries including bone marrow transplants, corneal transplants and both of his hips have been replaced.

Caleb was diagnosed with Hurler Syndrome when he was just a baby - it's an extremely rare disease and there is no cure. Doctors initially said Caleb would pass away between the ages of five and ten. That was before he went to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital because he's 13 now, and he seems to have the world at his fingertips. He's beyond grateful for his life and he said he owes it to the doctors at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. "I like that they're trying to help me still be here. And they're trying to still find the cure for me," he said. "There's no telling where we would be or where we would live and keep up with the medical expenses much less have the level of care that he gets at the hospital," said Caleb's mom, Kelly Waddell.

This is where you come in. The St. Jude Car Raffle is on Sunday, August 17th. Elkins Fordland and Elkins Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram are providing five brand new cars and you could win one of them. Log onto www.elkinsauto.com and look for the St. Jude tab. Each ticket is $100 and every penny goes towards research at the hospital.
