Veterans had the chance to find a new job Thursday afternoon at a free job fair over at the Clarksburg armory.

Over 200 veterans took part in the fair. About 60 vendors were on hand with jobs ranging from healthcare to law enforcement and computers. The mood was upbeat. Vendors were happy to be there to give back to the people who served our country and the veterans left with the possibility of great job opportunities to follow.

"There is a lot of different opportunities here, both education and jobs. It's really good I think for the vets," said Timothy Whitehair

"They're bringing a resume and talking to people and looking for good employees," said Richard Iaquinta, Veterans Committee Chairman

There was also information concerning continuing education for veterans at the event.
