The United States Postal Service Processing and Distribution Center at Eastpointe is set to be closed later this summer and Clarksburg city officials are not happy.

City council passed a resolution on Thursday in support of the continued operation of the facility, which employs over 100 people and serves as a way to drive traffic in to the Eastpointe shopping area.  Council will send the resolution to our congressmen and senators and urged the public to let their voices be heard as well.

Council also recognized and was entertained by the state champion WI Middle School show choir.
