Over the past few nights, over 100 people have been spending the night at the Clarksburg Mission. There's about 40 in the welcome room and the rest are at various other locations in the area. There's multiple families with about 20 children staying there at this time. They are serving about 200 meals a day.
When all these people stay at the mission, all the bills go up. This means electric, water and gas start sky rocketing. There is a few ways you could help the mission with these problems. One is by donating items to their thrift store, which is one of the biggest sources of their funding. You could also help by shopping there. There's everything from clothes to gently used appliances and furniture.
The store is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
