Some Norwood Elementary fifth graders took a trip around the world Wednesday morning, all without leaving the confines of the Harrison County 4-H Center.

The students are just one group taking part in the Christmas Around the World presentation. Students learn about holiday traditions in different countries.
"Most kids don't know how other countries celebrate Christmas so they really learn a lot and it gives them an idea of things that they can think about during the Christmas season that is different from what they celebrate," said Amy Phillips, Enrichment Supervisor with Harrison County Parks.
Each kid has their favorite.
"Italy because they do everything different from us, they celebrate about the nativity scene," said Madison Seti.
"France. We have stockings. They put their shoes on the floor and in Italy, they stick food in their shoes for the night attractions," said Braeden Oldaker.

Other schools are set to go through December 20; however, everyone's invited to go this Sunday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. It's free for all families.
