Starting this week, Congress will be back in session, and that means one thing: All eyes will be on the issue of U.s. involvement in Syria.
She's also talked to many of the constituents in her district, and said they don't support it at all.
"I don't feel there's a coalition. I've talked to about 1,000 West Virginians, and I think there's 5 who support it. People are adamantly opposed to this. We need to have a global response to this. The United States can't do it alone, and there's no proof that in one strike, we would be done," said U.S. Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), of West Virginia's 2nd Congressional District.
"If we don't do something about Syria, it could come to our borders. I think we need to nip it in the bud,' said Linda Marsh, Fairmont resident.
Besides Syria, Congress also has to make a decision on the budget for the 2014 fiscal year. If they don't pass a resolution by the end of this month, it could once again lead to potential government shutdowns.
