Avery United Methodist Church played host to a consignment sale put on by the Ronald McDonald House Saturday.

Clothing, toys, and books were being sold. About 50 people passed through since it started on Friday. The consignors also get a portion of that and the rest goes to benefit the Ronald McDonald House in Morgantown. They also have a choice to donate what's left over.

The deals were so good, consignors donated items and even then shopped themselves.

Associate Marketing Director Samantha Esposito said, "A lot of them will come in because they've had an older child that's grown out of stuff and donated stuff to us, but they have a younger kid, so they'll actually come back in and shop. People buy big piles, and they're only like ten bucks, and you think it would be so much more than that. It's a lot cheaper for them to come here and buy then versus a store."

The next event that the Ronald McDonald House will be having is a 5K run on May 4th, along Decker's Creek Trail.
