Power crews continue to work hard to restore power to everyone in the Mountain State.  Over 14,000 people are still without power across the state.

Many crews have come in from out of state to help but the conditions and the widespread damage left by the storm have made things challenging.  Several workers told us today that they are still having some trouble getting to more remote areas, mainly because of trees that are down.  They are also having to replace power poles which snapped under the weight of the snow.

Mon Power tells us they hope to have power restored to most people by midnight Friday.  They said though that more remote areas may not see the lights come back on until the end of the weekend.
