With Christmas only a few short days away, local malls and shopping centers are filled with those last minute shoppers hoping to find that perfect gift for their loved ones.

Some shoppers are just putting the final touches on their Christmas lists, while others realize how little time is left to find everything they need. We spoke with a few shoppers to see how they're coping with the crowds.

"I'm just picking up a few last minute gifts. Some stocking stuffers and a couple more things for the grandkids and the great grandkids," said Pam Vanscoy, a Taylor County resident. "I think a lot of people waited until the last minute for the sales and I think it's going to be very crowded over the next few days."

The large crowds can bring an added level of stress to the already frantic holiday season. But if your worried about not knowing what to buy, there may be a simple solution.

"Well there's only 3 shopping days left until Christmas, so you can pretty much expect big crowds," said Robin Urquhart, Meadowbrook Mall Marketing Director. "We see a lot of gift card sales when you get down to the last few days. We're very busy at the information desk because mall gift cards are so easy."

If gift cards aren't for you, the Meadowbrook Mall will have extended hours right up until Christmas to accommodate your shopping needs, but expect a crowd.
