Director Of The Preston County Animal Shelter Is Canned

Commissioners in Preston County apparently didn't like what the manager of the county's animal shelter had to say about the facility on Facebook and now she's out of a job.
Courtney Austin was fired Monday night at the weekly county commission meeting.

Commissioners had suspended her after she posted to the site that the shelter didn't have any heat or water last month.
Commissioners said that wasn't true and they asked for access to the page.
Apparently Austin didn't hand over control, and after a meeting with her and her attorney commissioners made the decision to let her go.
Austin's attorney said they're trying to decide what they'll do next.
