The Doddridge County Sheriff's Department said that they won't release any more information about Monday night's triple homicide. They said they believe this is the best decision because children are involved and they want privacy for the surviving family members. The investigation, of course, is still going on.

While they look through evidence, the schools that these children went to are trying to keep everything as normal as possible. It's been a tough few days for students and teachers in both Doddridge and Ritchie counties. On Tuesday, the Ritchie County School Board president said Dixie Spencer, who was one of their teachers, was one of the victims.

Other reports say that her husband and their young daughter were the other two killed by a teenage family member. That suspect will be charged with three counts of first degree murder.

Other than that, all the sheriff's department will say is that they're thoroughly analyzing every piece of information and evidence linked to this crime.

Doddridge County Schools Superintendent Rick Coffman said that professional psychologists have given their support every minute of the day since kids went back to school on Tuesday.

"There were times when staff members and students needed to have someone to talk to, that was there, it's still there. We're going to continue that and just try to provide each other as much support as we can," said Coffman.

They will be there as long as needed.
