Domestic violence continues to be problematic in our area so people in Randolph County united Tuesday night to raise awareness and honor those who have passed away as a result.
A domestic violence vigil was held in Elkins. Purple ribbons were handed out and people heard from a survivor of domestic violence.
Organizers said it's important to let victims know that there is help out there.
