FIRST ON 5 NEWS UPDATE: Early Morning Fire In Mon County Ruled Arson

UPDATE (7:00 p.m.):
Officials with state fire marshals have ruled that fire that broke out on Gibson Street is a case of arson.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Fire crews were on scene of a house fire early Friday morning, and they say it looks suspicious.
That fire happened at around 3:00 a.m. at a vacant home on Gibson Street in Morgantown.
Crews were able to contain the fire to one room in the first floor of the two-story home. But, the rest of the house did suffer some heat and smoke damage.
Officials with the Brookhaven Volunteer Fire Department told 5 News that they found objects on fire in the downstairs room that leads them to believe the fire is suspicious. The state fire marshal's office will be called in to investigate.
