FIRST ON 5 NEWS UPDATE: Miner Injured at Federal No. 2 Mine

On Wednesday, some sort of accident happened at the Federal Number 2 Mine, which is on the Monongalia and Marion County line.
A miner suffered a minor hand injury and was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital. No word on how it happened.

We are receiving reports of some sort of accident at the Federal Number 2 Mine in Fairview.
5 News has been calling emergency officials, but all we've been able to get confirmed so far is that a miner suffered some kind of hand injury. We don't know how it happened or how severe it is at this time.
