A Marion County woman was in court Monday afternoon to plead guilty to some theft charges. That's after she was accused of running a "miscarriage scam".
Police said Desirea Santiago would knock on people's doors, tell them she had a miscarriage, and ask to use their phone. Once inside, she would steal money.

Santiago plead guilty to four burglary charges. She'll be sentenced sometime in February.
