In Fairmont, police say they were forced to use a taser on a man after he tried to push an officer out the window. According to a criminal complaint, police were on a disturbance call when they stopped to talk to Ronald Wayne Shaffer along Naomi Street.

Police said Shaffer refused to stop, then walked into his house and slammed the door. When police opened a window to talk to Shaffer, he allegedly pushed the officer out the window. Officers said Shaffer refused to comply, and they were forced to tase him while they put him under arrest.
