Fairmont Woman Facing Multiple Child Neglect Charges

A Fairmont woman was arrested on Tuesday, after child protective service workers apparently checked on six children that were living in her home and found feces lying around the house.
According to a criminal complaint, once officers got to Samantha Balch's home, they could smell urine and feces. Different items were also scattered all over the house. Some piles were up to three or four feet off of the floor.

Officers said five small children were eating apples off of the floor and some of those had been dropped in cat feces. Several children also didn't have any shoes on.
Balch is charged with six counts of child neglect creating risk of injury.

I would like to know if all those children are hers or foster kids. I've seen a lot of these so-called "checked-out" by DHHR foster parents situations where the children were LESS harmed by their 'real' parents than the foster parents the DHHR put them into. What the heck is wrong with these brainless stupid adults? The children are smarter than they are.
