A big fire in Fairmont is forcing some residents to stay indoors.
The fire broke out a little after 1:00 Friday morning at Ridge Runner Industries on Bunner Ridge Road. Ridge Runner Industries manufactures and distributes truck caps, camper shells and fiberglass tonneau covers, and truck accessories.
The smoke is so bad in the area that Bunner Ridge Road was forced to shut down for hours. It has since re-opened. 911 officials were also asking residents in the east-side area of Fairmont with outside ventilation, such as windows or exhaust fans, to shut them and stay inside.
Several fire departments were called to the scene, and were there for hours trying to put that fire out. 911 officials tell 5 News that nobody was hurt.
