A fire destroyed an apartment building Saturday morning in Grafton and now 10 families no longer have a place to call home.

Firefighters worked for hours to get the fire under control. It happened on Thayer Street around 6 a.m.

Everyone was able to get out in time and luckily no one was hurt. Investigators aren't sure what sparked the blaze and crews on scene said the State Fire Marshal's Office will be investigating. The American Red Cross and the Salvation Army are accepting donations to help the victims. If you would like to donate, you can get in touch with the Clarksburg American Red Cross office at 304-624-7689.
