A flash flood swept through parts of Morgantown Saturday afternoon, trapping one vehicle and causing delays on several major roads in Morgantown.

The floods were on Van Voorhis Road and West Run Road along with several other locations.

The storm that struck started a little after 4:00 P.M. Saturday afternoon, and required police to rescue at least one person from their car on West Run Road.

Luckily, nobody was hurt.

The National Weather Service did issue an Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Morgantown and Star City a little after 5:00 P.M.
