Flooding a Concern For Business Owners in Bridgeport

Another round of heavy rain led to flooding again in Bridgeport, and one of the areas affected was Main Street.

Drivers made their way through heavy amounts of water on the road's surface just before 4 p.m. on Friday . Culverts and drainage areas flowed over, as the flood waters were too much to handle.

Tom Davis, owner of Tom Davis' Garden Center in Bridgeport, said this has become a regular occurrence and he feels something needs to be done about it.

"We go through the same situation every time it rains hard. My business gets flooded, Ace Hardware gets flooded and everybody down the hill gets flooded. All the way down through there, it's a mess," said Davis.
