A Taylor County man who was named the Clarksburg Water Board Employee of the Year in 2011, will now spend the next three to 15 years behind bars for sexually abusing a teenage boy.
According to the Exponent Telegram, 59-year-old Lewis Peters was sentenced on Friday for three counts of first degree sexual abuse. Prosecutors said he abused the boy over a two-year period.
Peters will serve 25 years on supervised release, once he's let out of prison. He will also have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
