Harrison County commissioners spent some time in executive session talking about plans for the new 911 Center on Thursday. Despite their talks, they made no decision.

A new 911 Center is part of the commissioners five year plan. Right now it's in year three of that. There's currently layouts for a new complex to be built on county owned land in the PK area of Clarksburg. Some other places have proposed their buildings for the area.

Commissioners have a loan in place but they're at odds over how to move forward. There's no set date on when a decision has to be made.

I personally had to call 911 some time back. I was never treated so rudely than I was when I called from Taylor county. I was reporting an accident that had occured and that I had come upon. When I couldn't give an exact street number the person I was talking to got very Nasty. Grafton isn't that big and I gave enough details that EMS would have located us. When I made a complaint to the superviser about this dispatchers behaviour he was just as bad. I know that I pay for this service by having phones and I get sick and tired of Harrison County treating us like we are second class citizens. I was promted to write this letter when I heard someone saying yesterday that they were treated the same way. You chose this job and my suggestion would be that if you are that miserable then you need to find a new occupation. You are there to provide a service to the public not to get irritated with that public when you are ask to do your job! If the victim had been my relative my second stop would have been to an attorney to see what their rights were with the delay of needed help because these people were inconvenienced! By being argumentitive with me they were depaying the help that the victim needed. Thank God they were okay but what if the results had been different?
