Doctor Bill Underwood from United Hospital Center joined 5 News at 5:30 to talk about a condition called spinal stenosis.  Spinal stenosis is a narrowing of the open spaces within your spine, which can put pressure on your spinal cord and the nerves that travel through the spine. Spinal stenosis occurs most often in the neck and lower back.

In this segment we will discuss:
  • Who gets spinal stenosis?
  • How do you know if you have it?
  • Is it treatable?
