A few months ago, Clarksburg Police found a man they believed to be responsible for breaking into ten businesses and buildings in the eastern part of the city. Friday, that man admitted to breaking and entering.

James Herbig was arrested when he was allegedly trying to break in to the Elite Cleaners. Seven other buildings in the area were broken into around that time.

Those seven other places were Immaculate Conception, the Compact Store on Broadway, Mountaineer Mart, DC's Barber Shop, the Clarksburg-Harrison County Housing Authority, the United Methodist Church on the border of 2nd and Pike street, as well as an unidentified building on the corner of Chestnut and Pike Street.
