The hunt is still on for the man who police believe held up a bank at gun point Thursday afternoon in Monongalia County.
It appears this is starting to become a yearly thing for the Westover Police Department. That's because this is the third year in a row a bank has been robbed there the first week of January.
Officers said in the most recent robbery a masked man went into the WesBanco right off Fairmont Road. When he got inside he's said to have pulled out a gun and then got away with cash.
Investigators told 5 News he's a white male, about 5'9" tall.
This isn't the first time detective there have had to deal with a bank robbery early this year.
The last two years the former United Bank on Holland Avenue was robbed around the same time.

Both of those robberies also involved a masked man with a gun, and in both instances the suspect was described was about the same height.
Police told 5 News there are some similarities to all three crimes, but there's also things that are different. That's why they're still looking to see if they're related.
"We're going to review that with the FBI," Lieutenant Roy Harper with the Westover Police Department, said. "We'll review each case to see if there are any similarities."
If you have any information you're asked to call the Westover Police Department. Their number is (304) 296-6576.
