A lack of honesty is one of the top reasons why so many marriages end in divorce. In fact, 50% of marriages end in divorce these days. So where does reading your spouse's e-mail fall into the mix in relationship honesty?
Eight out of ten Americans say it's either totally unacceptable to read your spouses e-mail or only in an emergency. Less then one out of five said that it was okay otherwise.
So how detrimental are these types of trust issues? Marriage counselors say that they are often symptoms of something else.
