While the rain may have put a damper on things, the MedExpress Kids' Day in Morgantown still had a good turnout.

Hundreds of kids went to the 26th annual event that included all sorts of fun activities. There was face painting, games, and even some giveaways.

Morgantown police and fire departments were there to show kids safety tips. Kids were even able to make their own first aid kits.

Participant Amara Farnham said, "We did sand art. We made friendship bracelets. We both had a lot of fun today. I want to come back next year."

Downtown businesses and local non-profit organizations also took part in the festivities to make the event a great community experience.
