Good food and wine, it's a combination you can't beat.  Over the weekend at Lakeview Resort in Morgantown, folks got to enjoy both of those at the annual Festival of Food and Wine.
It's the 29th year for the festival that takes guests on a culinary trip around the world.  More than 200 people came out to enjoy this year's theme, The Art of Entertainment.
Acclaimed chefs from all over put on seminars to teach people how they can make recipes at home.  Guests can also taste different wine and enjoy shopping from some of the 25 vendors present.
For the past two years, they've held the Iron Chef Competition, where organizers have recruited some pretty famous judges like Dwayne Woodruff from the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Organizers said food and wine are guaranteed to bring people together.
"Food is a social gathering.  Everybody loves food.  Everybody loves to eat and cook.  There's nothing better than to have food as a base to bring people together.  You get to taste wines from all different regions- local growers, regional growers," said Steve Sharkey, General Manager for Lakeview.
Donna Cipriani was there selling jewelry.  "It's a very diverse group of people.  I like to do the events to meet people who are out of my circle of friends, which is really important for my business.  We had great sales last year and great sales again this year."
The event ends tomorrow after a brunch at 11.
