Just at a time when folks in Monogalia County thought they would be done with all those headaches surrounding property reappraisals it looks like some folks might have to get ready for round two.
That's because the State Tax office if sending letters to more than 5,700 residents next week.
The letters will let folks know their property taxes have increased by at least 10 percent.
Last year they sent out out more than 40,000 of the same letters to folks in Mon County.
Mark Musick, the county's assessor, told 5 News the decrease shows how much progress they've made in a year.
If you get one of the letters and have any questions you can call the assessor's office. Their number is (304) 291-7222.
