A Lewis County man is behind bars after the police say he was allegedly selling drugs.
Deputies arrested Kenneth Romel, 38, after they searched his car during a traffic stop. Police found over $2,000 dollars in pills and over $1,000 in cash.
The Sheriff told 5 News why this arrest was important for the community.
"This was a significant arrest because of the amount of narcotics he had in his possession as well as the money. And this individual has been under our watch and under our radar for several months and we were fortunate enough to get him behind bars," said Sheriff Adam Gissy, Lewis County Sheriff's Department.
Romel is being held at Central Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.
