People in Harrison County came out to honor those who put their lives on the line to keep us safe.
The Harrison County Bureau of Emergency Services hosted its 35th annual awards banquet Friday evening. Dozens of people from all over the area came out to not only enjoy some good food and drinks, but take the time to thank those who help us out. Director Paul Bump says this banquet is very rewarding.
"We're not thanked, or you don't recognize what your peers are doing, or what the community does, so it helps to recognize what you've accomplished over the last year," says Paul Bump, Director of Harrison County Emergency Services
The bureau gave out more than 80 awards at Friday's banquet. Some which included years of service to those who show high success at the workplace.
