Cancer is responsible for taking the lives of many young children, so some people in Mon County thought it would be a good idea to help out in a stylish way.
People from all over the area came out to Nico Spalon in Morgantown to help raise money for the WVU Children's Hospital. for just $20, you could get a new look, and give hope to the kids out there who are struggling to beat the disease. The manager at the salon says he's thankful for everyone that has pitched in to make this possible.
"We've actually met these kids, met their families, so it's hard to put to words how it makes you feel," says John Whisler, Manager.
In past years, Nico Spalon has raised nearly $8,000 to benefit cancer. They say this year, they hope to hit the $10,000 mark.
