Well we all know how hard and stressful the hunt to find a job can be.
So, for that reason officials over at West Virginia Junior College tried to alleviate that stress for residents all across our area Friday.
Twelve employers from all around North Central West Virginia gathered at the school to promote the various job opportunities that are now open, and looking for people just like you to start a new career path. Whether it was something part-time or full employers encouraged residents to fill out applications, and never give up in their search for employment, and that's something that officials at the college want to make sure residents really take away from events like these.
"This job fair is just to help employers, and the community. You get to see someone face to face. It allows the community members to see jobs that are open in our area, and it just connects community, and employers." said Kristy Cunningham, Career Management Director at West Virginia Junior College.
School officials say that it was there hope that today several people at least walked away with either a new career or a new direction in their job hunt.
