Longtime Business Man Harry Green Dead At 87

Harry Green, a long time businessman throughout Clarksburg has died.

According to the Exponent Telegram, Green died Friday at his home in Bridgeport. He will be remembered for his Chevrolet car dealership in Clarksburg that he purchased in 1959 and then moved it to its current location on old Bridgeport road in 1964. Green served as president of the West Virginia Automobile Association, Central West Virginia Boy Scout Council and the Clarksburg rotary club.
 
Green was also the founder and first president of the Harrison County YMCA. Arrangements will be released Saturday by Burnside Funeral home.  Green was 87.
