A man went to United Hospital Center after blacking out, and crashing his truck into a business in Harrison County.
It happened around 7:00 p.m. on Pike Street in Shinnston. The driver, who's said to be in his mid 60's, woke up after driving into the Orioles Club Lounge.
Someone close by flagged down a police officer, saying they heard a loud bang. When he went to investigate what was going on, the driver was responsive but a bit disoriented.
Police believe he suffered a medical emergency, but they're not sure what exactly.
"Me and some friends were sitting in there where we always do every evening and all at once dust started to fly and plaster started to fly and then there was a Ford pickup sitting in the bathroom. We started running," said Dusty Ward.
The owner of the restaurant said a few of the doors inside are stuck shut due to movement in the walls. They're putting up a plastic tarp until they can make repairs.
