Family members have told 5 News that the state medical examiner's office was able to confirm the name of the man who was killed in Preston County fire early Saturday morning.
They told 5 News that 56-year-old William Uphold Jr., of Albright, was killed in the fire.
They also said that he lived in that home with his mother, Donna Shrout, and her husband, Bob Shrout, but they weren't home at the time.
There's still no word on what caused that fire.
Since the home was destroyed, donations are being accepted for the couple.
Donna wears 2X shirts and 3X pants, and likes clothing made from stretchy material. Her shoe size is 9.5
Bob wears medium shirts, 32X30 pants and 8.5 shoe size.
To donate clothing, call (304) 329-2451.
Monetary donations can be dropped off at any Wes-Banco bank for the "Donna Shrout Fund".
