An accident in Randolph County sent a man to Ruby Memorial Hospital in a helicopter early Saturday morning.

Troopers told 5 News they think the man was supposedly driving the wrong way on Route 33 near Laurel Mountain Road around 5:30.

That's when he apparently hit a log truck head on.

The man's name hasn't been released, and there's no word on his condition.
