Man Sentenced To Prison For Kidnapping An Elderly Woman

Monday morning a man who says he has no memory of kidnapping an elderly woman was sentenced to 40 plus years in prison.

Last year, Bernard Cox, 31, broke into a Clarksburg woman's home and told the woman to give him all her money. When she said she didn't have any cox tied her up, gagged her and supposedly said he should rape her.

The victim convinced Cox to take her to Walmart to cash a check and that's where she escaped. Cox said he was on drugs at the time of the incident and wasn't himself.
