State Police have arrested a Marion County woman, after she supposedly scratched a five year old girl on her chest.
Sgt. Adam Scott said Victoria Carpenter, 59, scratched the girl with her fingernails, because she was mad at her for something she did around the house.
Carpenter is charged with child abuse causing injury. She's in the North Central Regional Jail. No bail has been set at this time.
If you suspect a child is being abused, give Sgt. Scott a call. He's with the State Police Crimes Against Children Unit. That number is (304) 367-2701.
