It's all about the kids this holiday season, but with only two days left, the Marion County toy drive is still in need of donations. Hundreds of people are expected to line up outside of the Election Center in Fairmont this Friday to pick up the toys so children all across the county can have a special gift this Christmas.
But the drive is still about $8,000 dollars short of its goal.
"We would like to meet our goal of $17,000, which is how much we did last year, but if not it's still great and we can bring in more toys whether they are new or previously and lighted used People have been bringing in toys all day, and we've been going shopping to bring some toys in too." said Butch Tennant, Marion County Commissioner
If you want to help, you can stop over to the election center in Fairmont to drop off toys or any money donations. Local residents can pick up a free toy from 8 in the morning until 12:30 at the Election Center.
