A Marion County man accused of beating up another man in an argument over $10 pleaded guilty to battery charges on Tuesday.

Randy Masters was arrested in May after an incident when he and other members of his family got into a fight with a man who had loaned Masters the money. That man ended up with four staples in his head from his injuries.

On Tuesday, Masters pleaded guilty to battery and conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor. He was sentenced to one and a half years in jail, but the judge suspended that in favor of three years probation.
