Bean bags are a common piece of furniture to find in homes with children, but due to safety concerns, over two million bean bag chairs are being recalled.

The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled bean bags made by the Ace Bayou Corporation after two children tragically suffocated inside the chairs.

Many of these bean bags come with zippers that can open, which has led to kids crawling inside. Once inside, children can get stuck and suffocate or choke on the foam beads that fill the chairs.

This has sparked a debate amongst some who believe it is parents responsibility to watch their kids, while others think the danger should be removed.

"I think if they are going to be dangerous to the kids, they should take them off the shelf" said Lou Heart, Harrison County Resident.

Officials say recalled bean bags can be easily identified by locating an Ace Bayou Corporation tag sewn along the chairs seam.
