The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is trying to find a woman who apparently escaped for her court ordered home confinement.

Deputies said Michelle Lea Curtis isn't at her Clarksburg home where she's supposed to be. The 22-year-old woman is 5'10" and weighs around 110 pounds. She has blue eyes and blonde hair she also has a large tattoo on her back and shoulders.

If you know where she is, call the Harrison County Sheriff's Department at 304-623-6655.

In Monongalia County, the sheriff's department is trying to find another woman who didn't show up to court when she was supposed to.

Amanda Gifford was originally charged with burglary, grand larceny and conspiracy. Gifford is 21 years old. She's around 5'6" weighing 150 pounds and has hazel eyes.

If you can help police find her, call the Monongalia County Sheriff's Department at 304-291-7291.

Police in Bridgeport are hoping someone may be able to identify the owner of a car that's believed to be connected to a breaking and entering last month.

Investigators said a Jeep Grand Cherokee was seen leaving the area of the EZ Car Wash on Main Street in Bridgeport after a breaking and entering there. This happened around 12:30 a.m. on May 31. The car seems to be an older model Jeep Grand Cherokee with body damage to the driver side door.

If you have any information, call Officer Hammond at 304-848-6124.

UPDATE:

Police in Barbour and Taylor counties spent nearly a week looking for Rickey Allen Carpenter, who had apparently escaped community corrections.

He was arrested this weekend, and now, he's facing an additional charge of obstructing an officer. Deputies in Marion County found him at a home when they were trying to serve a warrant on another man.
