It's been almost two months since 79 year-old Robert McClain died while he was trying to cross South High Street in Morgantown.

On Tuesday, police identified 24 year-old Levi Sooy as the driver who hit him.

According to investigators, Sooy never saw McClain crossing the street. He died on scene while Sooy was driven to Ruby Memorial Hospital to have his blood tested.

Police are finished with their investigation and the case is now in the hands of the Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Officials are still waiting on the results of blood samples.

There's no word on what charges Sooy could potentially face.
