If you're looking to live in one of the best cities in the United State you don't have to look very far. That's because Morgantown ranks very high on a list of the best places to call home.
The University City ranks 7th on Kiplinger's list of places to live well.
Kiplinger's is a Washington D.C. publisher that specializes in financial advice. They put Morgantown high up on their list because the city's low unemployment rate and the opportunity for growth with West Virginia University, and two major hotel right in their backyard.
Susan Sullivan, Morgantown's Communications Director, said the ranking is an honor.
"Morgantown is such a fantastic place to live because of the mix of the people that we have," Sullivan said. "We've got students who come in who make our town feel young and alive and we have the families who stick around."
The report also gave Morgantown city high remarks for having cultural activities, such as a theater and Cooper's Rock, close by.
